The future of the United Nations
The UN is marking its 75th anniversary at a time of great disruption for the world, compounded by an unprecedented global health crisis with severe economic and social impacts.
Will we emerge stronger and better equipped to work together? Or will distrust and isolation grow further?
With four experts we will discuss what the future of the UN may look like, in terms of the UN's function in ensuring global peace and security, its role in promoting human rights, and how the organization may deal with the global crises to come. Will the United Nations still be relevant 75 years into the future? What about in the next few years?
